Entry #4 Having Fun In Las Vegas
Having Fun In Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a very famous city, people from different countries know about this specific city, and it's in movies. It even earned a nickname "Sin City" because of how much inappropriate stuff you can do. You can gamble, get drunk, get an escort to your hotel etc. Unless your going there to just see the cool bright lights at night or visit a specific place, these are really the major fun things you can do in this city. Which brings to my argument which is there's nothing there in Las Vegas if you're under 21 years old.
Like mentioned before, people mostly go there to gamble, drink alcohol, or get an escort. All of these listed options require you to be 21 to do them. So if you're under 21 visiting Las Vegas right now, I hope you have fun with the bright lights or with this new sphere they made in there. Las Vegas Statistics show that the average age group that visits it are 30-49. This shows that people who are going there are grown ups which means this city is not for the young people who are under 21. And also Las Vegas is visited a lot by older people mainly for the fact that it's the only city that allows gambling to be legal. So it's okay Las Vegas is not that glamorous city that everyone shows on social media because these are the reality of it.
If your a person under the age of 21 looking to visit Las Vegas, make sure you reread this blog to decide again. It's okay there's a lot more cities that are much more fun and have stuff that you can actually do other than gamble, get drunk, or have an escort coming to your hotel room. If you want to go there mainly for the shining lights at night I say go for it. But if not, then you need to seriously reconsider going there if your a young person. Las Vegas is a fun city mostly to the people who are looking to have fun with blowing their money, getting wasted, or seeing strippers on the street, that's really about it.
Wow, that’s interesting to hear. I would’ve never thought that most places in Las Vegas are 21 and up. You would think there’d be at least a few fun activities for younger people.

ReplyDeleteI can relate a lot to this blog. My parents loved going to Las Vegas when I was younger but I often found the experience to be quite boring because of the lack of things kids can really partake in. Good Post -David

ReplyDeleteWhat is your larger point in this post? It's true that Vegas is an "adult" city. Did you go recently and found yourself personally disappointed by the experience?
